The latest VPN Tracker update brings new changes which optimise the way admins configure and roll out VPN connections for team members. In addition, the team management features you know from the web client have been directly integrated into the Mac app for a more seamless experience.
What's new in VPN Tracker for teams?
For admins setting up a new VPN configuration – test and tweak connection settings and manage access permissions at your own pace before rolling out to your team. All fully accessible from within VPN Tracker for Mac.
Publishing and unpublishing connections
The latest VPN Tracker version adds a useful publish/unpublish workflow for team admins.
Configure your VPN connection and save it in Team Cloud. Then, choose who should get access and add any shared secrets or additional connection settings:
Click the slider to publish the connection for users:
Want to go back and change something without deleting the connection from your Team Cloud? Unpublish a connection to temporarily deactivate it for your team until you've carried out your changes.
Tip: You can easily distinguish between published and unpublished connections by the icon in the connection list. Unpublished connections will be grayed out.
